L-carnosine, scientifically known as β-alanyl-L-histidine (β-alanyl-L-histidine), is a dipeptide composed of two amino acids, β-alanine and L-histidine. Tissues of muscle and brain contain high concentrations of carnosine.
Myostatin is a kind of along with carnitine was discovered by the Russian chemist Gurevich.
